Carla Anacker (DE) is a choreographer based in Berlin (DE) and Copenhagen (DK).

She is driven by her interest in exploring togetherness. This manifests in her ways of working, thematically in the pieces she choreographs and in the relationship between audience members and performers.
She is interested in the very event of the performance—the relational space that emerges between audience and dancers/ dance piece, constituted by the mutual holding of space.
Her work insists on the value of presence, affect, and the experiential. 

Carla Anacker studied Integrated Design at the University of the Arts Bremen (DE), was a student of "Dance Intensive" at Tanzfabrik Berlin and is currently pursuing an MFA in Choreography at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen.  
In 2020, Carla Anacker co-founded the performance collective Tremenda Corporea. In 2025, she was a recipient of the ATLAS scholarship at ImpulsTanz Vienna (AT).
